BROKEN WINDOW / NIGHT IN TOWN / LADY IN PETRA / . . . 

« ...Daido Moriyama said “the city has everything: comedy, tragedy, eulogy, eroticism, it’s the ideal place where people’s desires are interwoven”. And I’m hunting the cities, the people, all the emotions and the nostalgia of the streets.

I hunt textures, lights and shadows, often rejecting the pursuit of the technical sharpness, allowing the grainy, the out of focus and the high-contrast images to express the torment, the sadness, the solitude, adding rawness and energy to ordinary.

The city is my canvas and it will always be my natural element where my photographs can breathe, where all demons can play together in a hypnotic and seductive dance.

I don’t work on long term projects, I take single photos and I’ve always seen them as an “exorcism” for my fears and personal hell. Acting by instinct, never trying to think, I. don’ have the intention to tell a story. If the viewers see something, maybe that story is in their hearts... »
